Business Settings

Business Settings control the core information FieldHive uses across your account.

This includes your business details, contact information, labour rates, working hours and other settings that affect quotes, invoices and bookings.

Business Information

Your business information is used throughout FieldHive and may appear on customer-facing documents such as quotes and invoices.

This can include:

  • Business name

  • Contact details

  • Address

  • Trade type

  • Country and region

  • Currency

  • Tax settings

Keeping this information accurate helps make sure your documents and records are set up correctly.

Labour Rates

Labour rates help FieldHive understand how your time should be priced.

These rates can be used when creating quotes and invoices, helping keep labour pricing more consistent across your work.

Working Hours

Working hours are important because they help FieldHive understand when you are normally available for work.

These hours are used when displaying availability indicators in the bookings calendar.

Availability indicators are based on your working hours and existing bookings, so keeping your working hours accurate helps make the schedule view more useful.

Why Working Hours Matter

If your working hours are incorrect, your availability indicators may not reflect your real working day.

For example, if your working day is set too short or too long, FieldHive may show availability differently from how you actually work.

Keeping Business Settings Updated

Business Settings should be reviewed whenever your business details, working pattern, labour rates or tax setup changes.

Keeping these settings up to date helps FieldHive provide more accurate quotes, invoices, schedules and availability information.
