Invoice Reminders Aren't Sending

If invoice reminders are not being sent, there are a few common things worth checking.

Check Invoice Reminders Are Enabled

Invoice reminders must be enabled before they can be sent automatically.

To enable invoice reminders:

Settings → Workflow → Quotes & Invoices → Enable Invoice Reminder

If this setting is disabled, reminders will not be sent.

Check The Invoice Status

Invoice reminders are intended for invoices that have not yet been fully paid.

Review the invoice and confirm it still has an outstanding balance.

Invoices that have already been marked as Paid will not receive reminders.

Check The Customer Email Address

Invoice reminders are sent to the email address stored on the customer record.

Review the customer details and confirm the email address has been entered correctly.

Check The Due Date

Invoice reminders are automatically sent 3 days after an invoice due date.

If the due date has not yet passed, the reminder may not have been triggered.

Check Outstanding Balances

If the invoice has been paid in full, no reminder will be sent.

Review the payment summary and confirm there is still an outstanding balance on the invoice.

Check Your Internet Connection

An internet connection is required for invoice activity to sync correctly.

If your device has been offline, reconnect and allow the app to sync.

Review The Invoice

Confirm the invoice still exists and has not been archived.

Archived invoices are no longer part of the active invoicing workflow.
