Sending Invoice Reminders

Invoice reminders help you follow up on outstanding invoices and encourage timely payment from customers.

Rather than manually tracking unpaid invoices, reminders can help ensure customers receive a follow-up after an invoice becomes overdue.

Enabling Invoice Reminders

Before invoice reminders can be used, they must be enabled within your settings.

To enable invoice reminders:

Settings → Workflow → Quotes & Invoices → Enable Invoice Reminder

When enabled, invoice reminders are automatically sent 3 days after an invoice due date.

Why Use Invoice Reminders?

Customers are busy and payment requests can sometimes be overlooked.

Invoice reminders help ensure customers receive a follow-up without requiring additional administration.

Sending Reminders

Invoice reminders can be sent for invoices that remain unpaid after their due date.

The reminder includes information about the invoice and helps prompt payment from the customer.

Keeping Customers Informed

Following up on overdue invoices helps maintain communication and keeps customers aware of any outstanding balances.

This can help reduce delays and improve payment collection.

Managing Outstanding Invoices

Invoice reminders work alongside invoice statuses and payment tracking to provide a clearer view of unpaid invoices.

Together, these tools help make it easier to understand which invoices still require attention.

Staying Organised

Automated reminders help reduce manual follow-up and ensure overdue invoices are not forgotten.

This allows you to spend less time chasing payments and more time focusing on your work.
