Managing Customers

The Customers section helps you keep customer details, addresses and notes in one place.

Customers can be linked to quotes, invoices and bookings, so you do not need to keep entering the same details again.

Customer List

The customer list shows your saved customers in one place.

From here, you can:

  • Search for a customer

  • Open a customer profile

  • Add a new customer

  • View key contact details at a glance

This is useful when you need to quickly find a customer before creating a quote, invoice or booking.

Adding a Customer

You can add a customer from the Customers section using Add Customer.

Customers can also be created while creating a quote or invoice. This means you do not need to leave your workflow just because the customer has not been added yet.

A customer record can include details such as:

  • Name

  • Company name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Address

  • Notes

Customer Profile

Each customer has a profile where their details are stored.

The customer profile helps you see important information quickly, including contact details, notes and related work history.

This makes it easier to return to a customer later and see what has already happened.

Editing a Customer

Customer details can be updated when information changes.

This is useful if a customer changes their phone number, email address, company name or site address.

Keeping customer records up to date helps make sure quotes, invoices and communications go to the right place.

Deleting a Customer

Customers can be deleted if they are no longer needed.

Before deleting a customer, make sure you no longer need the record for future reference.

Why Customers Matter

Customers are used across FieldHive.

By keeping customer details in one place, FieldHive helps reduce repeated admin and keeps your quotes, invoices and bookings connected.
