Understanding Availability Indicators

Availability indicators give you a quick visual guide to how booked up a working day is.

They are designed to help you understand your schedule at a glance when planning new bookings.

What Availability Indicators Show

FieldHive uses your working hours and existing bookings to show how much availability appears to be left in the day.

The indicator is based on whether another 30-minute booking could fit within your working hours.

Availability Colours

🟢 Green

Green means the entire working day is available.

There are no existing bookings using up time during your working hours.

🟠 Orange

Orange means there are existing bookings, but at least one additional 30-minute slot is still available during working hours.

This means the day has some work booked in, but it is not fully booked.

🔴 Red

Red means no additional 30-minute bookings can be scheduled during working hours.

This means the working day is currently showing as fully booked.

Important Note

Availability indicators are there to guide scheduling decisions.

They do not stop you from managing your diary, adjusting bookings or making changes where needed.

Why They Are Useful

Availability indicators help you quickly see whether a day looks open, partly booked or full without checking every booking individually.

This can make it easier to choose a suitable day when arranging work with a customer.
