My Customer Isn't Showing Up

If you cannot find a customer while creating a quote, invoice or booking, there are a few common things worth checking.

Check Your Search

Customer lists can be searched using customer information.

Try searching using:

  • Customer name

  • Company name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

This can help locate customers that may not appear immediately in the list.

Check The Customer Was Saved

If a customer was recently created, confirm that the customer record was successfully saved.

Unsaved changes will not appear in customer searches or selection lists.

Refresh The Screen

If the customer was recently added, refresh the page or return to the customer list and try again.

This can help ensure the latest customer information has been loaded.

Check For Duplicate Customers

Sometimes a customer may have already been created under a slightly different name.

Review the customer list carefully before creating a new customer record.

This helps avoid duplicate customer information.

Check The Correct Customer Information

Customers may be easier to find using information such as:

  • Business name

  • Contact name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

Trying alternative search terms can often help locate the correct customer record.

Creating A New Customer

If the customer does not already exist, a new customer can be created directly from:

  • Quotes

  • Invoices

  • Customers

Once saved, the customer will become available throughout FieldHive.

Check Your Internet Connection

An internet connection is required for customer information to sync correctly.

If your device has been offline, reconnect and allow the app to sync before searching again.

Still Need Help?

If you still cannot locate a customer, please contact FieldHive Support and provide:

  • The customer name

  • Any contact information entered

  • Where you are trying to find the customer

  • A description of the issue

This will help the support team investigate the issue more quickly.
