I Can't Send an Invoice

If you're having trouble sending an invoice, there are a few common things worth checking.

Check Customer Information

Before an invoice can be sent, the customer record should contain a valid email address.

Review the customer details and confirm the email address has been entered correctly.

Check the Invoice

Review the invoice and ensure all required information has been completed.

This may include:

  • Customer information

  • Invoice details

  • Pricing information

  • Payment information

  • Invoice items

Incomplete information may prevent the invoice from being prepared correctly.

Check Your Internet Connection

Sending invoices requires an active internet connection.

If your device is offline or has a poor connection, the invoice may not send successfully.

Try Sending Again

If the invoice does not send on the first attempt, return to the invoice and try again.

Temporary connection issues can occasionally affect sending.

Confirm the Invoice Status

After sending an invoice, check that the invoice status has updated correctly.

A successfully sent invoice should show a status of:

Sent

If the status remains as Draft, the invoice may not have been sent successfully.

Review Payment Information

If the invoice was created from a quote or job, review the invoice details to ensure the correct invoice type and values have been selected.

This can help prevent issues caused by incomplete invoice information.
